Candle Care & Safety

Candle Care & Safety

At Provence Rose Candle Co., we believe a candle should be enjoyed as both a source of beauty and serenity. To ensure the best experience, follow these simple care and safety guidelines:

 First Burn Matters

Allow your candle to burn until the wax melts evenly across the entire surface.

This prevents tunneling and ensures an even, long-lasting burn.

 Wick Care

Always trim the wick to ¼ inch before each burn.

This helps prevent smoke, soot, and uneven flames.

Burn Time

Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.

Extinguish when ½ inch of wax remains to avoid overheating the container.

Placement

Burn candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, fans, or vents.

Keep out of reach of children and pets.

 Extinguishing

Gently snuff out the flame instead of blowing it out to prevent wax splatter.

Never use water to extinguish a candle.

Storage

Store candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve fragrance and color.

Replace lids after each use to keep your candle fresh and dust-free.

Safety Reminder

Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Do not burn near flammable objects such as curtains, papers, or bedding.

Stop burning once wax reaches the last ½ inch.

At Provence Rose Candle Co., our candles are crafted for moments of elegance, calm, and indulgence. With proper care, each flame will burn beautifully — just as intended.
